Guest speakers in the hotel’s Lecture Hall have ranged from the famous to the barely audible. Though their subjects have varied greatly (from the practical uses of frog vomit to the odd and angry shadows that have appeared behind Pluto since it ceased to be a planet), all of the speeches have had one thing in common: possibility. Scientific fact, though invaluable, goes nowhere without new ideas, new paths. It is within possibility that we awaken, and that is the true purpose of the discussions held within these halls (and the food and drink served afterward is nothing to sniff at, either). So, find a comfortable chair before the auditorium darkens and allow yourself to venture into the realm of the hypothetical, the nearly plausible, the almost credible.
